The New York Times’ Crossplay game asks you to build words that share letters in a grid. Enter the letters on your rack and Letterora lists every constructible word with points and definitions.
Letterora is an independent word tool — not affiliated with the games named on this page. Game names are used to describe what each tool helps with.
NYT Crossplay Solver
Is this an official NYT tool?
No. Letterora is an independent word search. The official NYT crossword dictionaries are not published, so this page searches the US game dictionary (open general dictionaries) instead.
How does this differ from the Word Finder?
It doesn’t mechanically — Crossplay answers are regular words, so the same reliable engine applies. This page exists so Crossplay players land on a focused tool with the right defaults.
Can I constrain words to a fixed length?
Yes — use the Length filter, and Starts/Ends/Contains for letters already placed in the grid.
